We’ve organized the questions we often receive before purchase
From payment and report use to data sources and limitations, refunds, and dealer collaboration. We’ve grouped the most common questions by category. If you can’t find the answer, please contact us directly through the inquiry option at the bottom of the page.
Payment & pricing
How much does one report cost?
You can choose a plan depending on whether you are reviewing one vehicle or multiple vehicles. Three plans are available: Single Report(1 vehicle), Multi-Check Pack(5 vehicles), and Dealer Starter Pack(20 vehicles). The exact price and validity period can be found on the pricing page.
When are credits deducted?
After payment, report credits are added to your account, and 1 credit is treated as used when one VIN report is generated. You can purchase credits first without a VIN, but when using a credit, we recommend checking the 17-character VIN once more to avoid generating a report with an incorrect VIN.
What happens if unused credits pass their validity period?
Unused credits have a validity period by plan: Single Report 7 days, Multi-Check Pack 30 days, and Dealer Starter Pack 90 days. Unused credits that have passed their validity period expire automatically, and refunds or extensions may be limited according to policy. Please also check the validity period for unused credits before purchase.
What payment methods are supported?
We support payment by major credit/debit cards and PayPal. All supported methods are displayed during the payment process, and you can check the VIN and selected plan again on the final screen before payment.
Report use
How can I access the report?
After payment, when you enter the VIN, Korean official history data is searched, and when matching is possible, NHTSA/IIHS public safety and recall reference materials based on the same or similar North American sales model are also organized and displayed across 9 sections. The generated report can be viewed again at any time in your account’s report list.
How long can I view an issued report again?
The report viewing period is the period during which you can view the issued report again in your account and download the PDF. A Single Report can be viewed for 6 months(180 days), while Multi-Check Pack and Dealer Starter Pack reports can be viewed for up to 1 year(365 days).
What items are included in the report?
There are 9 items, including vehicle overview, catalog, specifications, safety ratings, recalls, special use history, special accident history, insurance accident history, and mileage records. You can preview the detailed structure on the sample report page.
Does the report replace a service-center inspection?
No, it does not. The report is material that organizes and displays official history accumulated in Korea, and it does not provide a guarantee of the vehicle’s condition. It is most effective when used together with a physical vehicle inspection by an independent local service center in the destination country.
Can I view it in other languages?
Currently, reports are provided mainly in English/Arabic/Russian/Korean. The report focuses on organizing available records and pre-purchase questions in an easy-to-understand structure, and support for additional languages will be reviewed progressively in line with the scope of service operations.
Data & records
Where does the data come from?
We use Korean vehicle official history data(accident, insurance, mileage, and usage history) as the basis, and safety ratings and recalls are provided as NHTSA/IIHS public reference materials based on the same or similar North American sales model. North American materials do not mean a U.S. recall determination by VIN or confirmation of repair completion for a Korean domestic vehicle.
Are accidents not recorded in Korean official records also displayed?
They may not be displayed. If an incident was not processed through insurance or ended with only bodywork/painting, it may not remain in official records. Therefore, instead of definitive wording such as "no accidents," the report only organizes and shows confirmed records.
Are records after the vehicle was exported from Korea also included?
No, they are not included. The report is based on official data within Korea. Driving, maintenance, and accident records that occurred in the destination country or elsewhere after export from Korea must be checked separately.
What happens if the VIN is entered incorrectly?
If you search using only the model and model-year information listed in the advertisement, it may be confused with records for another vehicle. Please request a photo of the vehicle’s VIN directly from the seller or dealer, then enter the 17-digit VIN accurately.
Inquiries & refunds
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with the report?
Because reports are digital content generated for a specific VIN, refunds after generation may be limited. You can check the exact refund policy in the notices or terms, and guidance for individual situations is available through customer inquiries.
How is the refund amount calculated if I have used only part of a package?
The refund amount is calculated in two steps. (1) Reports that have already been properly provided are deducted not at the package discount rate, but at the “single-unit price for 1 credit,” and (2) the refund percentage based on the number of days elapsed since the payment date is applied to the remaining base amount. The elapsed-day percentages are 100% on the payment date, 90% for 1~7 days, 70% for 8~30 days, 50% for 31~60 days, and 25% for 61~90 days; after the unused-credit validity period for the plan passes, the refund ratio is 0%. For example, if you purchase a Dealer Starter Pack ($429), use 4 reports, and request a refund on the 8th day, the 4 used reports are deducted based on the single-unit price ($29), so $29 × 4 = $116 is deducted, making the base amount $429 − $116 = $313. Applying the 70% rate for the 8~30 day period results in a refund of $219.10. However, elapsed-day reductions do not apply to refunds due to reasons attributable to the company, such as payment errors, duplicate charges, or failure to provide the service. Please refer to the Refund and Cancellation Policy for detailed criteria.
I’d like to collaborate as a dealer. How do I get started?
