Lemon Inspect
Report pricing

You can choose VIN reports for as many vehicles as you need

The LemonInspect report summarizes VIN records, accident and flood-related indicators, mileage flow, and recall status. If you put down a deposit without reviewing the records, you are relying only on the seller’s explanation, so first use the report to separate the indicators that can be checked from additional inspection questions.

Choose a plan

Choose based on whether you want to check one vehicle or compare multiple candidate vehicles. Even listings that look similar may have different VIN records, so prepare credits for the number of vehicles you want to check. All plans use VIN report credits; credits are added after payment, and 1 credit is used when 1 report is generated.

Issued reports can be viewed and downloaded as PDFs for Up to 1 year (365 days) from the date access is granted.

What’s included

What the report summarizes

The report focuses on helping buyers review available records first and organize what else should be checked with the seller and a repair shop. If you proceed without records, gaps in accident, mileage, and usage history remain buyer risks.

Basic vehicle information identified by VIN

Public record indicators related to accidents and flood damage

Mileage record flow and gaps

Recall status and items to check after purchase

Additional inspection points to pass on to a repair shop

Photo and document questions to request from the seller

What’s not included

What should not be concluded from the report alone

The items below are difficult to determine from records alone. They should be checked together with vehicle photos, seller documents, and a repair shop inspection.

A guarantee of the vehicle’s current condition

A substitute for a repair shop inspection or lift inspection

A guarantee of no accidents or no flood damage

A definitive vehicle market value or future repair cost

A guarantee that the seller’s explanation is true

A legal judgment on whether import is possible

Before you buy

Check the VIN again when using a credit

You can purchase credits first even without a VIN. However, the report is digital content generated based on a specific VIN, and credits added after payment are used at 1 credit per 1 report generated. Check the VIN again before proceeding when using a credit.

Frequently asked questions

Can I purchase before entering a VIN?

Yes. You can purchase report credits first, even if you do not have a VIN yet. However, the actual report is generated based on a specific VIN, so when using a credit, you should check the 17-character VIN again.

When are credits deducted?

After payment, report credits are added to your account, and 1 credit is treated as used when 1 VIN report is generated. To avoid generating a report with an incorrect VIN, check the VIN again when using a credit.

How long can I view an issued report again?

Issued reports can be viewed and downloaded as PDFs for Up to 1 year (365 days) from the date access is granted.

Does the report guarantee the vehicle’s condition?

No. The report is material that organizes available records and pre-purchase questions. The current vehicle condition should be assessed together with seller materials, vehicle photos, and a service-center inspection.

Decide first whether you will review one vehicle or compare several.

If you have 1 candidate vehicle, a Single Report is sufficient. If you are comparing multiple listings, it is more practical to use the Multi-Check Pack to filter out vehicles with more concerning records first. If you have inventory vehicles that you need to explain to customers repeatedly, choose the Dealer Starter Pack.
